Michael and Amberley come to The Neighbourhood from a roughly 20 year diverse ministry background. Most recently having planted a church in Alberta where they lived for 10 years.

Pastor Gordon Mochar

Ministry Associate, Counseling & Discipleship

Gordon met Marilyn in youth group, were married and now have four children,12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Next to their relationship with the Lord, their family is the number one priority of their lives.

Pastor Yasmin Chick

Ministry Associate - Christian Education & Family Ministries Pastor

Pastor Yasmin comes from an administration and business management background. Working for retail businesses and the aviation industry.

I came to Canada as a teacher, but really to get away from God, in 1967.  Not long after, I met Carol, and we were married in 1969.

Pastors Wainewright and Sonia serve as the Lawson Sunday Venue Pastors. Pastor Wainewright was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana and immigrated to Canada in 2011.

Payge has completed her third year at Horizon College and Seminary taking classes to become a Children's Pastor. Payge is passionate about kids and has been with kids ever since she was 3, after the birth of her first cousin.

I am a recent addition to The Neighbourhood staff.  I interned for the months of July & August and was on staff as an Administrative Assistant from September to December.  I am now on staff as a Pastoral Intern.

Dawn Martell is our Office Administrator and Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor and loves her job! She is in the office Monday to Friday and feels blessed to have the opportunity to use her skills to help serve at The Neighbourhood.
